# How do I modify the invitation expiration?

How do you increase the invitation expiry duration mentioned [here](https://help.passbolt.com/faq/start/registration-token-expired) from the default 72 hours? I don’t see any option in the UI for Passbolt Community Edition (CE) v3.5.0 - Wide Open.

Hi @sneaker-net Welcome to the forum!

In the `default.php` file there are default values and also guidance for how to take sections from that file and copy them to the `passbolt.php` file in order to override the default values. I think what you are looking to do can be found there.
