# How to change the passphrase (with WinGPG)

This is not an installation issue per se.

I want to change the passphrase for my passbolt account, thus I tried to follow these steps: [https://help.passbolt.com/faq/security/change-passphrase](https://help.passbolt.com/faq/security/change-passphrase) which seems simple enough.

However, I cannot figure out figure out the third step. I have imported the **.asc** file into WinGPG but I do not see any possibility to change the passphrase… am I misunderstanding something here?
