# Password is Visible in Gmail Login when clicking on Show Password option box

The credentials were associated with a Gmail ID. However, when selecting the password in the password box and clicking the “Show Password” button, the password is revealed. afterwards the user can copy the password.

Hello @Niranjan ,
I assume you want users not to be able to see or copy passwords and have edited the RBAC settings to make sure they can’t do that on passbolt. Unfortunately as you noticed it is still inserted in a page and once it’s there the user can see it.
