Notes can be viewed on the app for IOS, but cannot be modified.
Hi @doubts
I’m guessing you spotted an issue with the keyboard covering the screen content (I mean the Apply button) when editing the Note. We considered this one some time ago, but on recent iOS versions it can be resolved by swiping down from the top of the keyboard. For older versions, we resolved it by adding a “Done” button above the keyboard.
If you mean something different, please add more context: a screenshot, device data, and resource type.
A little bit of context for you: the Note has been available in the app for quite some time. However, just before releasing the v5 resource types, we changed the naming convention. Now the “Note” is the entity that is part of the secret, whereas the “Description” (which we previously used as a name for what is now a “Note”) is reserved either for the encrypted metadata part of the resource or the unencrypted part of the v4 resource type.
On top of that, with the introduction of v5, we also enabled a separate “Note” resource type where there is only a “Note” in the secret. This one is only available with the new Encrypted Metadata resource types, so if you’re still on legacy (v4) metadata, you won’t see it.
Actually, based on your commentary - found it. Was not expecting it to be under → edit → advanced settings → note. Makes sense and solves the purpose.
Thanks!
