Attention CentOS 7 Users: Prepare for End of Life (EOL) and Plan Your Migration Now!

:rotating_light::loudspeaker: Heads Up Passbolt Users!

As we approach the end-of-life date for CentOS 7 on June 30, 2024, we want to remind everyone that Passbolt will also discontinue support for CentOS 7 from this date forward and that it’s time to plan your migration to a supported operating system. Continuing on CentOS 7 beyond this date will expose your Passbolt installation to significant security risks due to the absence of further updates and support.

To support your transition, you can head to the detailed migration guide, available on our help site. This guide offers step-by-step instructions to help you move your Passbolt setup to a more secure and supported operating system, such as Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux, RedHat Enterprise Linux or other alternatives.

We encourage you to start your migration process as soon as possible to maintain the security and efficiency of your Passbolt experience. For any questions or further guidance, remember, our help site and the community forum is there to assist you!

Let’s keep our community strong and secure. Thanks for being a part of this journey with us! :heart:

CentOS 7 is officially decommissioned as of June 30th. As mentioned earlier, Passbolt has also dropped support for this platform. Ensure your server is up to date by migrating to supported OS. See here: Migrate to a new Server | Passbolt documentation.
