@Hugo7 The ./bin/cake commands should be run in /usr/share/php/passbolt for new Debian installs.
The passbolt email configuration is for SMTP which will typically requires having credentials to a 3rd party mail server - like gmail, or your organization’s mail server.
Try running the command from the folder shown above and see what the results are.
