EPIC - Request thread for fixes to Autofill on specific public pages

Hi folks!

I’d like to test something and see if it works.

If you have a public* website where passbolt autofill does not work correctly would you please give as much information as you can about the way in which it breaks for you in a reply on this thread.

I have created a task within the support team and we will add batches of these feature requests as sub-tasks to discuss with the product team about which can be fixed and which can not.

If this goes well we can keep the thread going and revisit previously broken autofill as those sites make changes to their code.

Please be kind when posting a URL that you think should autofill.

Remember, the web is just a <form> tag stuffed with Javascript like some kind of bloated internet Bibendum scarecrow .

I have issues with auto fill on https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/login the button doesn’t appear at the end of the email, password and otp boxes and the fill on this page button doesn’t work from the browser extension. Thanks

First!

I can confirm the browser extension didn’t detect and offer to autofill for me either. And when I hit the passbolt browser extension quickaccess it did detect the correct site/resource, but did not fill when selected.

I’ll write it up and report back when I have more to report.

Aliexpress login autofill seems to be broken too, fyi!

No button appears and manually selecting “use on this page” doesnt fill it correctly.
