It is expected as you are using a self-signed certificate. You have to import the cert.pem file in your os or browser if you want to remove this warning.

You are welcome, ensure you have a proper backup strategy and you are able to restore passbolt in case your server goes down.
Yes, this check works only when you are using a public certificate.
