I have completed the German translation of Passbolt.
What happens next?
The translation now says “Translated” but “not approved”.
When does this check and when? I would be happy if the translation goes online as soon as possible.
Hello @Webdesign-Steininger and welcome to the forum. Once a string is translated, it needs to be reviewed by a proofreader before it can be published online.
The time depends on the person assigned to proofread German translations, who may not have free time at the moment. If you look at the project dashboard, other languages are waiting to be proofread, such as Spanish or Polish.
It usually doesn’t take too long, but sometimes if they are busy with a new update, it can take a bit longer. Anyway, thank you very much for taking the time to translate it into German, I’ll let you know on another channel to see if they can review it soon
Thx.
Thanks.
Can I integrate the translated language pack into my local installation in advance?
If yes, how?
I have Passbolt running at my car mechanic, but the incomplete translation into German is causing difficulties for the employees because some of them don’t speak English.
the v4.9.2 of the browser extension has been release on Chrome, and is pending on Firefox and Edge. It entails the latest German translations, including yours.
Would you like to give it a try and give us a quick feedback?
But on the server (Ubuntu) it only ever shows 4.9.1. So apparently the translation into German doesn’t work either.
In Crowdin I have now noticed that some things are not translated into German. They are probably new additions. I have already translated this into German.
Until when can I update the server to 4.9.2 including the German language pack?
