I’ve been using Passbolt for a while now, and I’ve found it incredibly useful for managing passwords securely. However, I’ve run into a bit of a challenge when it comes to handling multiple files, especially when I need to share several documents at once in a zipped format. I’d love to hear how others manage this process within Passbolt.
When I need to send multiple credentials or sensitive documents, I often end up manually creating a zip file, then sharing it via Passbolt. Zipping files is essential when sharing multiple items together, and it ensures the data is compressed for more efficient storage and easier transfer.
File to Zip, or folder compression, is a process where you take multiple files and bundle them into a single, compressed archive, usually in .zip
format. This is done to make the files easier to manage and share, as it reduces their overall size. Zipping files also helps maintain their structure and integrity when transferring or storing them. I’ve found that folder compression in seconds makes this process quick and efficient, but the manual part still feels a bit cumbersome, especially when working with Passbolt.
Given that Passbolt is a great tool for securely storing and sharing passwords, I wonder if there’s an efficient way to handle zipped files within the tool itself. Is there any way to streamline the file-to-zip process or manage multiple files better when using Passbolt? Or perhaps there are any features within Passbolt that could make this easier, even if they’re not specifically designed for file compression?
I’m particularly interested in hearing how others handle this situation. Do you have any tips, or have you found any integrations that help with the process of zipping and sharing files within Passbolt? How do you manage zipped files while maintaining the security and ease of use that Passbolt provides?
Thanks in advance for any ideas or feedback!
