Hello.
I’m trying to install Passbolt CE on the virtual host: Ubuntu 24.04.
Using the instructions Install Passbolt on Ubuntu 24.04 | Passbolt documentation..
All steps went ok, but in the end, the process got stuck at p.7 Installation.
Wait until about 30 minutes last attempt.
Also, I tried to install without SSL, got the same issue.

Hi Gyaresh, thanks for your reply.
At least, I don’t know how, but the message for user activation has come to my email, and now I can continue using Passbolt.
But the message that the installation is complete didn’t appear!
I don’t know what details to provide:
- Hyper V VM with guest OS Ubuntu Linux 24.04.
- 8GB RAM and don’t know, maybe only one processor, will check!
- Make all settings for NTP, time was syncronised and service active
- Firewall was down, inbound traffic was nat for ports 80 and 443.
- OS was clean and just installed
- Process with standard installation with database creation and configuration NGINX.
- Configuration was done in auto mode using an existing domain name.
- Then installation from the web page: all done like in the instructions.
- GPG was generated from the install application.
- SMTP was checked in the setting page, and the test message was successfully received. Using Google application pass.
- Then, stuck at the end, look at the screenshot.
- After 30 minutes, I open a new window and try to start my application, enter the email I have registered as first account and got the message to check the email.
- After 30 minutes or maybe 1 hour, I got a message and activated my account.
If I can provide additional details, please tell me how to do it.
Just check the installation process it is still working
