Manage multiple passbolt server with one plugin

Hi

Q1. What is the problem that you are trying to solve?
We’r manage multiple servers.
Reasons:
Admin user can view all users and groups.
There is no multiple level permissions to users (eg.: Admin (all), Manager(some groups visibility), User(only own and privileged groups)).
Because of this reasons and extended security reasons (backup separation, storage separation), we need to manage multiple passbolt server. In this situation there is no option to use one passbolt plugin to all servers.

Q2 - Who is impacted?
10-30 user at the moment.

Q3 - Why is it important and/or urgent?
It would be useful for those who need to manage more than one server or maybe for those who want to manage company and own passbolt together.

Q4 - What is your proposed solution? (optional)
Authorized (key authenticated) servers could be stored as list.

Hi @somogyi,

We indeed you are mentioning two features here:

  • Multiaccount, to have the possibility to switch between servers or account in the same server
  • ACL, to have a better granularity in the rights
    Both of them are in the roadmap and multiaccount will be tackled in the coming months.

What would be for you the use cases for ACL (it will help us when we will write the requirements)
