Release date: June 11, 2025

:musical_notes: Something’s Got a Hold on Me :musical_notes:

Passbolt v5.2.0 has arrived, giving your credentials a makeover. Say goodbye to plain icons and single URIs, credentials gain personality with fancy icons, flashy colours, and stack multiple URIs right onto your resources (all in beta, of course—be gentle).

Slovenian and Ukrainian languages have joined the party—dobrodošli and ласкаво просимо!

This update also tackles various bugs, driven directly by the community feedback.

What a great update!
I’m waiting for it to be available in Docker to update and try those features :star_struck:

Hi @Vivien,
awesome!
I upgraded to 5.2, but I don’t see any change regarding the URIs. Can you provide a screenshot on what the UI therefore looks like?

@goaround you’l find screenshots on the changelog page but you need to enable encrypted metadata (in beta) in the administration settings to have access to multiple URIs.

Strange: My API Status says 5.2.0, but it seems like UI is still the old version.

I dont see it in docker hub yet… is there somewhere else I could grab it?

@goaround what is your client version?
The new UI was introduced with 5.0.

Importing KeePass Files with mutliple URIs didn’t work, it is just importing the main URI.

since i updatet to 5.2.0 i dont see any passwords on the ios mobile app  in my browser i see all folders and passwords. in the ios app i see empty folder.

Browser works fine for me as well, when I attempt to log in with iOS app get red msg bar at bottom that http is forbidden. URL under my username on the login screen shows https… any advice?

Hi @smaxl,

Importing or exporting multiple URIs isn’t supported yet, but it’s on our roadmap. Could you share a bit about your setup so we can fine-tune the feature?

  • Operating system
  • KeePass version
  • KeePass plugins you use

Thanks!

Hi cedric!
I’am using macOS 15.5 with KeePassXC 2.7.10
Firefox 139.0.4 with KeePassXC-Browser 1.9.8

Thanks

Thanks for the additional info @smaxl. If you are curious, here are the Multiple URIs specifications, which will be updated in the coming weeks to support the import/export capability.

Hello @Holla_Die_Waldfee and @ecallis, could you please both create separate topics out of this thread and give as much information as possible on your installation and setup so we can help you with your issues?
