When opening Passbolt in Inprivate folder, when I click on URI, the page is open on the ‘non inprivate’ folder.
Could you update this feature ?
Hello GaetDout,
To provide you with the best assistance possible, I need more details on what is happening.
Could you please tell me if you are somehow using passbolt in an incognito window? If so, how did you manage to make it work? What are you trying to do, what were you expecting, and what happened?
Please note that passbolt is not meant to be used in a private browsing window.
Happy to help.
Thomas.
Hi Thomas,
I didn’t read this feature “Please note that passbolt is not meant to be used in a private browsing window.”
So I try…
The first issue that I have in Private Browsing is when I try to Open the URI associated with my passbolt entry, the web page open in a ‘non private page’.
If it’s not possible to use in Private browsing could you push this request.
best regards,
GaetDout
Hi GaetDout,
Thanks for the feedback!
passbolt relies on locally stored data to work, and private browsing is designed not to keep that kind of data, so this behavior is expected.
You can submit a feature request on the community forum by clicking on the “Features requests” category, then clicking on the “new topic” button and the template should be there automatically as shown below:
Depending on the demands we might increase the priority. I also created a dedicated ticket in our backlog (ref. PB-55887).
If you need anything else please don’t hesitate!
Hope this helps.
Thomas.
