Hi @Duffman,

@mmichalek told about logs added in the Android app (still in review on google side  ).

So you can’t add passwords from both iPhone and Android ?

Are you still on Ubuntu 22.04, with postgresql backend installed following the LinuxBabe tutorial ?

In the below response, I pointed you about an error on the LinuxBabe nginx configuration:

Do you have the same issue if you install passbolt following the official documentation ?

Best regards,

Hi @AnatomicJC

Thank you for all you help!

i am confused why the review is taking so long too :joy: . i am not happy with my Samsung S10e or Android and in Sept I will be getting an iphone. I tried really hard to like android for 3 years but i am going back to iOS.

Correct, cant add passwords from both but i am using an iPad and Android (S10e).

Yes, but I am running Ubuntu 20.04, with postgresql.

After you pointed out the issue I made the correction by deleting the code from the nginx conf and the avatar icon started to work. I believe Linuxbabe made the change in his tutorial as well. The line was added to help with speeding up cache i think, but he said it was a mistake to include the code for passbolt. I think it is more for wordpress.

To be honest i have not tried the official documentation so i can not comment if that is the issue.

I do not like docker and really prefer native from scratch installs. From my experience they work better. Maybe not being able to add new passwords is my issue, I hear you :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth: it is possible.

I look forward to the android update and hope the error will show.

I really love Passbolt! The software works great! Secure, Safe and Audited!

Thank you _jc and to all the Passbolt devs as well.

You guys do a great job helping the Passbolt community!!! Bravo!!! :tada:

Thank you for your warm support  Maybe can you try to create an trial account on https://cloud.passbolt.com just to check if you have the issue with the mobile app?

If you have the issue as well with cloud, it means there is something not supported on your device. On the other hand, if it works with cloud, it means there is something weird on your setup

Can you give a try and let us know ?

Cheers,

Hi @AnatomicJC

Great idea!!! Will do…

Hi @AnatomicJC

I signed up for the cloud account. Set up the app and had no issues with adding or deleting a new password on android and i bet iOS would be the same.

The issue must be on my server. Maybe the android update will point to the issue.
I am sad that it is on my side but I would say the issue is closed. I will keep you posted if the 1.9 update shows any new log errors.

Thank you _jc

Hi @Duffman

Android 1.9.0 update has finally been approved by Google so you should be able to update and check if new logs are available

Cheers,
