The team is hard at work, for an exciting release packed with some serious upgrades including new content types, advanced metadata encryption, a refreshed UI and many more. V5 is set to be a game-changer for all users.
One feature that’s been on many wish lists: icons! These new icons are set to make the interface more intuitive, visually engaging, and efficient in managing resources. And this is just the start, with many more exciting enhancements lined up for v5.

The icon interface looks great! Will we have those generic icons or can we also use site favicons?
I would also be happy to have multiple links in one resource. I hope to have them in the new version!

More seriously - and you can’t quote me on this - we’re working hard for a first release candidate toward the second part of Q4 2024 (mid-october / early november?). For developers there will be some features available behind feature flags as part of v4.10 in the backend, as early as the end of september / mid-octobre, so we can do a timely upfront update of all SDKs and CLIs.
that’s the info I was expecting to get (approximate ETA not a precise date).
