[PB-38169] Drad and drop default

Hello everyone,

Passbolt CE Debian 12 version server 4.10.1
Web version 4.10.2

I am experiencing a bug with the drag and drop functionality on Passbolt in the web version.

It used to work. I didn’t pay attention to which version it stopped working.

It’s hard to tell without more context. I would like to know if you could explain exactly what the issues is e.g., share some screenshots. Do you mean drag and droping a resource to a folder for example? This is something I haven’t been able to reproduce.

Yes, I mean drag and dropping a resource to a folder or a folder to another folder.
I have made an Screenshot vidéo to show you the default with a drag and dropping folder to folder. It do the same with resource to a folder.

Sorry for the delay there!

Developers have a ticket this sprint in order to investigate the issues, however, we would like to have a few more information:

Can you try to run the cleanup shell? sudo su -s /bin/bash -c “/usr/share/php/passbolt/bin/cake passbolt cleanup” www-data
- If you are on a RPM distro, please use nginx instead of www-data
Could you share the logs of the browser extension?
Ideally, when the issues is happening could you share any content you may have in the console? (Right click on the page > Inspect > Console)

thanks for your answer.

For more precision I use the brave browser.

I executed the command, I had no error in return.

I put the console log in the hidden attachment. I did not notice any change when simulating the fault.

The browser extension logs have too many characters to be put. do not hesitate to tell me by what means I can transmit them if necessary.

I’m taking a look at your issue and I can’t find any obvious reason with the logs and screenshot.

The error and its stack trace show that an error occurs during the check of the authentication.
So, I’m wondering, is it something that happens every time you want to do a move of a folder, or it is “just” from time to time.
Also, according to the errors shown, I expect that you could have been silently logged out (it shouldn’t be that silent though). Did you experienced a logout from your account a bit after the attempt?

I just tried again, and I just saw that it works again. Since our last exchange I have not performed any manipulation.
I can’t say what happened.

And to answer the questions. The problem appeared after updating to a version that had a directory problem on the database.
I had the error every time I wanted to do a drag and drop.
And I did not have a disconnection after the manipulation error.
