Several Passbolt users have different versions of the dashboard. Apparently, some users have an interface similar to the new version (5.0), while others still see the old version. Moreover, those who were switched to the new version no longer have line breaks in the “note” field, and everything has been merged, which is obviously disastrous for identifying where a key starts and ends. However, line breaks are still visible in the HTML source code.
Just a small clarification: we are running Passbolt CE version 4.12.0.
The differences of version is due to the fact that the rollout of the browser extension is different on the different webstores. Chrome went first then edge a couple of days after and we are still waiting for Firefox. The version 5 was quite big in terms of code change so it take a little bit more time than other releases.
As for the break line issue this was reported last week by other users and we have a internal ticket about it (PB-41627). That will be released in the 5.1 next month.
All the UI changes are shipped with the browser extension because the UI is served by it.
