Make Android app available in FDroid

This was already discussed in this topic:

Q1. What is the problem that you are trying to solve?
FDroid is an alternative Android App Store for Open Source apps. It would be nice if the Passbolt Mobile app was made available there in addition to the Google Play Store.

Q2 - Who is impacted?
There are some users that have Android compatible devices without Google Play Store.

I personally use Sailfish OS with Android app support and don’t have Google Play installed.

Q3 - Why is it important and/or urgent?
Having an alternative to the proprietary Google Play Store would be a nice addition, especially because this is an Open Source product as well.

Q5. Community support
People can vote for this idea to show traction:

  • :ok_woman: Must have: this is critical for me to have this
  • :raising_hand_woman: Should have: this is important for me to have this
  • :tipping_hand_woman: Could have: this could be nice to have
  • :no_good_woman: Won’t have: we should not schedule this (explain why)

definitely a must have for me too - thought i’d add my 2 cents here to hopefully get this prioritized sometime.

To add some hopefully useful content:
Bitwarden solved this by making a version without the Firebase push-notification feature, while noting this explicitly on the download page - very appreciated way of doing this, in my view. I would not mind having less features in my app if that’s required to make it completely open source.

That said, Bitwarden app is not in the official f-droid repos, and i didn’t check too closely what’s actually in it - i just want there to be an “official” way of getting the app without Google being involved.
