Q1. What is the problem that you are trying to solve?
On the yubikey validation screen there is a “verify” button. If you both touch your yubikey and also click the verify button, then the validation fails in many cases.
It took me quite some time to realize that I was clicking the verify button too fast and the yubikey text was not complete when it was submitted, and that I just had to not click at all and the yubikey would include a return statement to submit the form.
So the verify button is actually useless and when used it makes the validation process fail.

This is an annoyance until you realize you should not click… It should be an easy change to remove the button.

Option 2: Make the button wait until the data is complete (a yubikey text has a minimal size)
