Q1. What is the problem that you are trying to solve?
The problem scenario occurred when for convenience I emailed to myself my passphrase in order to access my existing account from a different machine. The passphrase did not work as expected. The problem was the copying action picked up hidden whitespace characters in the process.

Every user that manually copies from html based source.
Q3 - Why is it important and/or urgent?
The frequency of entering the passphrase via copy/paste is high. The actual passphrase is often not memorized. There is currently no way to verify what got pasted.
Q4 - What is your proposed solution? (optional)
I propose the common “view/eye” icon near the passphrase field that toggles.
