Tablet optimised App (iPad)

Q1. What is the problem that you are trying to solve?
Imo the Mobile App is not really useable on my iPad. Neither does the iPad support the NFC Yubikey so I can login with MFA enabled, nor does the scaling of the ios app works on ipadOS.

Q2 - Who is impacted?
Every person trying to use the app on ipadOS

Q3 - Why is it important and/or urgent?
Having the passwords available on all devices is the main factor for going with a solution like passbolt. Not being able to do so seems a bit frustrating.

  • :raising_hand_woman: Should have: this is important for me to have this
  • :tipping_hand_woman: Could have: this could be nice to have
  • :no_good_woman: Won’t have: we should not schedule this (explain why)

Hi @AETRN How would you rate your use of the web app (via browser) on your iPad?

Since I am using the Passwordsafe mostly for autofill inside other apps I have not tried going with the webapp for those circumstances. I might give it a try :stuck_out_tongue:

Make sure to try with a non-Safari browser or I will have invited the situation to become worse!

The WebApp on my Windows Client and the android app are pretty much perfect :stuck_out_tongue: the only thing im missing is local caching in case my connection somehow drops. I just wish that there will be the same useability on my ipad as with my android phone

related: Offline access to password database

At the time of this post, caching as described is not available.
