Unable to Recover Account after Forgetting Password

We have been using Passbolt for the last 3 months, and everything seems to be working smoothly. However, we have noticed that if a user forgets their password, there is no way to recover it, even though they have a recovery key. It still prompts for the old password. I just wanted to know if it is true that a user cannot recover their password after forgetting it.

Indeed, you need the passphrase that is matching with the recovery kit. This is to ensure that if your private key is corrupted, it can’t be used without the passphrase. Passbolt PRO comes with Account Recovery feature which in that case could have helped
