Q1. What is the problem that you are trying to solve?
A template to Import from Manage Engine Password Manager Pro or a more generic import option to allow for specifying the order of columns or mappings.
Q2 - Who is impacted?
I am not sure how widely used PWM is - however with more generic import options it would be easier to move from this system to yours.
Q3 - Why is it important and/or urgent?
We use more than one system for passwords and would like PassBolt to be our only option for the future. Importing our passwords currently requires lots of Excel adjustments to fit an import variation that PassBolt has as the options.
Q4 - What is your proposed solution? (optional)
An export from Password Manager has the following fields:
#Resource Name, DNS Name, Description, Department, Location, OS Type, Resource URL, User Account, Password, Notes
- The department column could be used to create folders.
- Some passwords do not have both of DNS Name and Resource URL - choose most appropriate?
- OS Type would be nice to map to an icon
- Location is useful - a free text option in passbolt would be good.
