Accessing passbolt via an .onion address?

We’re considering passbolt, but want to access it via the tor network using it’s .onion address. It seems like it should work, but before we go down that road. Has anyone successfully run passbolt over tor? I searched the forums for both “tor” and “onion” and ran multiple web searches but haven’t found anyone who has deployed passbolt this way.
any confirmation that it’s been done, or tried and failed, is appreciated,

As per the wikipedia definition:
.onion is a special-use top level domain suffix designating an anonymous onion service reachable via the Tor network.

I’ve never made passbolt work with on a .onion but as passbolt is working with FQDN and .onion is a valid TLD suffix it should work.
