Hello everyone,

:tada: Passbolt is holding its first ever, internal hackathon and needs the community’s help choosing projects. Here are some of the projects being considered, vote for your favourites. :partying_face:

Passbolt product accessibility
Make passbolt accessible for the visually impaired and hearing impaired.

Audit logs workspace
Create a new workspace that would contain all the logs for the entire application.

Accessibility Audit of Website
Edit the website for ease of use and inclusivity. Make it accessible for the visually and hearing impaired.

Password generator on website
A free, publicly usable password generator on the website.

Regain access when email server is inaccessible
Fix for an issue some users are experiencing with email configurations not allowing passbolt access.

Passbolt Terminal User Interface
Interact with passbolt from your terminal.

ACL / UI policies
Creating ACL system for basic passbolt operations and help customers configure their policies regarding the password strength, entropy, enable / disable emoji, etc.

UI customization: logo, font, etc.
Tailoring user interface in order to optimise user experience.

Dear community members,

:tada: We are thrilled to announce the winner of this year’s passbolt Internal Hackathon, which took place from March 29th to April 3rd, 2023. The team that secured the maximum points from the entire passbolt team is the ‘Audit Log Admin Panel’ :trophy:, a project worked on by Juan, Stephane, and Clayton. This team’s project stood out for its innovative features, seamless integration and potential for future development. :partying_face:

The hackathon was a resounding success, providing an opportunity for our team to come together and showcase our creativity.

We congratulate Juan, Stephane, and Clayton for their outstanding achievement and express our gratitude to all the teams who participated in the hackathon.
The team’s hard work and innovative ideas have contributed to the success of this event and will undoubtedly benefit the passbolt community as a whole.
