Hi Guys!
I need to change the domain name for my passbolt VM.
I have done changes to following files:
- etc/passbolt/passbolt.php
- etc/nginx/sites-enabled/nginx-passbolt.conf
- regenerated ssl certificates by the command “sudo dpkg-reconfigure passbolt-ce-server” as described here
But when I restart it shows me the nginx stub (btw certificates seem to work) but no passbolt UI.
Please suggest, what else I am missing.
Thank you!
Hello @ship_the_code and welcome to the forum!
Have you tried to run healthcheck? What is this showing?
sudo su -s /bin/bash -c "/usr/share/php/passbolt/bin/cake passbolt healthcheck" www-data

On the healthcheck you can see a fail saying that Passbolt is not reachable from the domain provided.
Have you checked if Passbolt is available using the IP instead of the domain? To check if there is a domain problem or something with the network config
Maybe you have something wrong with the ports you are using or your VM has a firewall that blocks the connection to Passbolt.
You should check that first and then try with your domain
I seems like the changes have been enough
The only thing that was left is to clean up browser app data.
I guess that was some cache/cookie/whatever issue on the browser side.
Thank you!
